Meet Ron Clegg, CEO of Clegg Consult

I am a licensed professional engineer with 28 years of experience, the majority of which has been spent managing transportation projects and preparing NEPA documents. I have managed over 20 NEPA projects including state environmental studies, categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, and environmental impact statements. I have worked with several UDOT project managers, UDOT’s environmental staff, and FHWA staff. I am qualified on the UDOT pool for project management.

Before starting Clegg Consult, I managed the WSP (formerly Parsons Brinckerhoff) Salt Lake City office for seven years. In this role I was responsible for a staff of over 70 individuals, was responsible for the financial performance of the office, and developed numerous relationships in the local and regional engineering community. I cherish my experiences at WSP and love the people that I worked with.

In 2015 I started Clegg Consult. My reason for starting Clegg Consult was so I could focus my energy on managing projects, my true passion. I also realized that there were some things that I still wanted to do with my engineering career, one of which was to own my own company.

At Clegg Consult, it is very important to me that I provide an excellent value to my clients. I do this by bringing years of experience, carefully managing my time, and by keeping my overhead expenses to a minimum. I want my clients to feel like that I provide them with excellent service and value.
